The Msida Creek Project to commence in early November

After years of consultations, discussions, and planning, Infrastructure Malta’s Imsida Creek project is set to begin in early November, with completion targeted for 2027.

Initial work will focus on the Imsida waterfront, with efforts to minimize traffic disruption as much as possible. This phase will include the construction of a new quay, as well as the foundations and roadway linking Ta’ Xbiex to Valletta. At the same time, preparations will begin for a temporary lane on Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, allowing for reinforcement work on the roadside walls in the following stages.
