Safer infrastructure

In collaboration with Transport Malta’s regulatory and educational road safety efforts, the agency works to constantly reduce accident risks through the development of safer infrastructure. 

Such measures include redesigning of major junctions to reduce accident black spots, the introduction of safety equipment and other technologies to help different road users reach their destinations safely and the development of safer and more accessible sea transport systems, such as ferry landing terminals.

Infrastructure Malta ensures that safety standards are adopted in all stages of its infrastructural investments, from planning to implementation and final testing and certification.
